What's in it
The question everyone asks
The first question everyone asks is what is in it. It is a fair question, and you get a straight answer at your consultation, including which product goes on your hair and why.
The formula is mine. I developed it in Brazil for the range of hair that actually sits in my chair, and there is more than one version of it.
Which one you get comes out of an evaluation I do before anything is mixed. I look at how your hair is built, how much it can take, what has already been done to it chemically, and what you want at the end. Two people can ask for the same result and need different products to get there safely.
After
Keeping it
Smoothing lasts longer when the shampoo is not working against it. You leave knowing what to use at home, what to avoid, and roughly when to come back. That conversation is part of the appointment.
In practice it holds two to three months. Your hair type sets the range, and what you wash it with and how often you wash it decide where inside that range you land.
Questions
Before you book smoothing
Can I keep my curls and just lose the frizz?
Yes. That is option three above, and it is the one most people actually want once we talk it through.
Can I do smoothing and color in the same visit?
Sometimes, and the order matters. We plan both at the consultation so one does not undo the other.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is set at your consultation, based on your hair. Length and thickness change the work enough that a fixed price list would be wrong for most people.
How long does it last?
Two to three months for most people. Coarse hair tends to hold it longer than fine hair, and washing less often stretches it further. A shampoo working against the treatment will cut it short.
Which product will you use on me?
I work with my own Brazilian formula and there is more than one version of it. I pick yours after evaluating your hair: its structure, how much it can take, and everything that has been done to it chemically. You will hear exactly what I am using and why before we start.
